Remote Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Expeditors International of Washington is seeking a Remote Business Development Associate to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. This part-time position is ideal for entry-level professionals with at least 1 year of experience in business development or a related field. As a Remote Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for expansion - Develop and implement strategies to attract new business and increase revenue - Build and maintain relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-up - Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions for clients - Track and report on sales metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge - Attend networking events and conferences to promote the company and expand your professional network

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field - Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role - Independent and energetic personality with a strong drive to succeed - Excellent project management and time management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with a virtual team
