Communications Specialist

Job Description:

WESCO International is seeking a passionate and confident Communications Specialist to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a part-time entry-level position with no prior experience required. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's external image and communicating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the company's brand and reputation - Create engaging content for the company's website, social media platforms, and other communication channels - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels - Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive communication - Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and other promotional activities - Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to support communications initiatives - Analyze communication metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

Requirements: - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Creativity and a keen eye for detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred - Previous experience in a communications role is a plus but not required
