Product Development Specialist (Governance)
Permanent Part-Time, 0.6FTE, 22.8 hours
$124,800.00 per annum, pro-rata inclusive of the superannuation guarantee
WALGA is seeking a professional and highly motivated Product Development Specialist (Governance) to join the training team and aid in developing and maintaining quality educational content for Elected Members and Local Government Officers.
This position would suit someone who takes pride in being an expert on legislative text, relevant to Local Government in WA, and who has their finger on the pulse when it comes to Local Government legislative and regulatory reforms. They will influence and support by participating in Industry Advisory Groups and contribute to the development of Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) assessments.
Someone with knowledge of the Local Government Act, an understanding of the role of the State and Federal governments, and excellent interpersonal skills and self-direction will be an ideal candidate for this position.
What is most important to us is finding someone who prides themselves on their expertise and insights in developing quality, informative, and engaging training programs that engage diverse audiences and enhance participants' learning.
