Be part of the local management team reporting to the Country Manager and Cluster Head HRImplement the HR strategy for the Austrian market in support of business goalsProvide HR strategic partnership to the Austrian General Manager and the local leadership teamCoordinate and supervise payroll as well as guide, train and support people managers in the annual salary planning and performance management cycleDrive organizational design and development initiatives, advance the local talent and succession strategy and be the interface for employee relationsImplement a strategy of high performance culture, including succession planning and strengthen the talent pipeline with focus on diverse and emerging talentsImplement and harmonize corporate recognition programs, initiatives and local benefitsProvide HR leadership regarding M&A activitiesLead cultural change and integration process to support organizational efficiencyDrive organizational success through effective policies, processes, terms and conditions that attract top talentSupport local recruitment activities / Introduce new hires / Hold onboarding induction programsBe responsible for administrative and operational HR work such as contract management, management of the fleet, health & safety topics, GDPR activitiesManage Works Council relations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

University degree and 8-10 years of experience as HRBP or HR generalist in a global and highly matrixed organizationDemonstrated experience in all aspects of HR including total rewards, talent management, recruitment, employee relations, change management, organizational effectiveness and local labor lawExperience in developing guidelines and training concepts, linking global processes and initiatives to local needsStrong communication, partnering and negotiation skills – ability to influence, coach and support strategic issues and agendasCorporate mindset with a track record of achieving resultsProven interest in progressive HR practices, trends and legal changesHigh-energy working style with passion and proactive and pragmatic approachesMust be comfortable working in an English-speaking business environment. Fluency in German is a must
