• Humbly greeting customers upon arrival • Properly communicating with customers and making them feel comfortable • Identifying the needs of the customers • Giving expert-level advice regarding products • Helping the customers in finding the most suitable products to satisfy their needs • Demonstrating the appropriate use of products • Maintaining trustworthy and long-lasting relationships through follow-up calls and emails • Ensuring the attractive display of products • Keeping track of stock availability and ordering products when required • Recording the transactions and regularly maintaining a balanced cash register • Developing strategic plans to meet sales goals • Submitting sales reports to the concerned manager • Planning and actively attending webinars, seminars and in-store events

The desirable qualification required to be appointed as a Beauty Advisor are:
• High School Diploma or equivalent • Bachelor’s degree from cosmetology school, fashion program or art institute • Prior experience of working as a Beauty Advisor or other similar role in a retail store • Excellent communication skills • Knowledge of beauty products • Ability to demonstrate and promote beauty products • Great customer service and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a highly competitive environment • Good time management skills • Well-developed and enhanced marketing skills • Knowledge to apply beauty products to different skin types • Presentable and professional appearance • Friendly and positive attitude
