YOUR CHALLENGES

In the role of Director Warehousing you are responsible for several business units within Warehousing. You hold a key position within a multi-customer environment with customers from different sectors. By translating your vision into concrete objectives, you will act as a financial, operational and commercial manager with final responsibility for the results and successes of the various business units.

What does this mean concretely?

• Together with the business unit managers you are responsible for the strategic expansion (vision and mission) and geographical development of the business units.
• You manage several business unit managers, each with his/her
• As a real people manager, you lead a team of Business Unit Managers, acting as a facilitator and a coach, in order to achieve personal and professional growth.
• Your expertise within warehousing complemented by your strategic insight, enable you to draw up the strategic annual plan, in close cooperation with the various business unit managers.
• Hereby you take into account the returns and optimizations within the business units and you know how to translate these into concrete action plans to implement them.
• Negotiating at a high level with strategic clients is not unfamiliar territory for you.
  To be successful in these negotiations, it is a priority to expand your network and strengthen your own market position with our existing customers.
• In addition, you attach great importance to innovation and sustainable development, which you know how to convey to the various layers, inside and outside our company.
• Finally, as Director Warehousing Belgium, your responsibilities include conducting budget meetings, motivating investment proposals, determining the financial feasibility of investments, drawing up an annual budget relating to turnover, manpower, Gross and Net Profit,…
