The company has two facilities; the headquarters are based in Nivelles (Belgium), and the France Research Center focusing on offering an end-to-end DNA production platform based in Evry (France).

In addition to its current focus area of mRNA-based vaccination, Quantoom is continuously exploring new applications for its current and future development projects, including cell-free protein synthesis, DNA vaccines, RNA-based therapeutics, gene delivery technologies, and many more.

MISSION:

At Quantoom Biosciences , we are looking for a talented Product Management Manager to lead our Product Management team, part of Marketing, you will report to the Head of Products, Marketing and Sales.

As a Product Management Manager , you manage a small team of high-caliber Product Managers covering the company Product Portfolio made of mRNA manufacturing technologies, you drive the development of all products and oversee commercial products together with your Product Management teammates in liaison with various internal teams such as Engineering, Process Development, Project Management, Marketing and Sales, and Quality Assurance. Your ultimate objective being to achieve a coherent Product Portfolio made of commercially successful products meeting market needs.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

• You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Product Managers to drive the development of the company Product Portfolio
• You will give support to your teammates, outlining and realising the company’s strategy. You translate this into a Product strategies and make it concrete in objectives, actions plans, process documentation, critical success factors, organizational structure
• You will contribute yourself to the development of certain products or product features
• You will work in close relationship with Product Marketing and Business Development to align and implement the Sales strategy and tactics with the Go-to-Market plans.
• You will also be responsible for documenting key development milestones, throughout the product life-cycle and be the “go-to” person for information regarding the product(s) in question
• Moreover, you will support the creation of relevant marketing materials and promote our products through conferences, webinars, workshops, publications etc.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the Marketing and Sales to identify market trends and conduct Voice of Customer campaigns to capture current and future needs
• Carryout competitive analyses to assess technology gaps in the market and identify adequate positioning for our products
• Scout new technologies that could be integrated into our Product Portfolio Roadmap
• Work with Marketing and Sales to (re-)evaluate pricing strategies for new and existing products and generate marketing materials that promote our products/ services
• Carry out process economics analysis to help drive decisions in product developmentand perform bespoke cost modelling analysis to show the tangible financial benefits of our products for different customer-specific applications
• Lead the initial scoping of the key technical features of new products to be developed, frame detailed URS documents writing, and ensure that the products under development meet the identified market needs
• Build up trainings to educate the sales and marketing team on the key benefits and value proposition of the products in the Product Portfolio
• Participate to customer meetings to explain the value proposition and key technical features of our products
• Manage and/or Contribute to Product-related meetings, where all functions surrounding the development of products are reunited; driving the agenda and triggering the right discussions for decision-making

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Computational Biology, Bioengineering, or related field. Additional degree in Business Administration is a plus
• 5+ years of professional track-record in Product Management with first hands-on experience with people management/coaching, ideally in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up/scale-up environment, with exposure to technical industries such as technical instrumentations, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to deliver key messages to internal audiences easing decision-making processes and external audiences to pitch ideas and capture market feedback
• Self-driven and proactive, combined with interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional project team
