About the Platform:
This is a growing B2B platform that helps brands connect with the right partners and solutions to scale more efficiently. As the business expands across Latin America and other markets, the team is adding a business development representative to drive new client acquisition.
Role Overview:
This is a top-of-funnel, outbound-focused role. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients who are a strong fit for the platform, then converting those conversations into qualified meetings for the sales team. Success in this role is measured by pipeline quality, consistency of outreach, and qualified opportunities created.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and prospect new potential clients through outbound channels (email, LinkedIn, calls, and other methods)
Initiate conversations and clearly articulate the platform’s value proposition and use cases
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria and schedule meetings or demos with the sales team
Build, manage, and maintain an accurate and active pipeline within the CRM
Research target accounts and key decision-makers to personalize outreach
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly outreach, qualification, and meeting-setting targets
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies
Qualifications:
1–3+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales development role (B2B experience preferred)
Based in Mexico or Brazil
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish or Portuguese is a plus, depending on location)
Comfortable with high-volume outbound prospecting and handling objections
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities simultaneously
Experience using CRM systems and sales engagement tools
Self-directed, proactive, and performance-driven
Nice to Have
Experience selling SaaS, platforms, or marketplace products
Experience selling to startups, SMBs, or digital-first businesses
Understanding of Latin American markets and business culture
