São Paulo, Brazil Our client is a multinational consultancy providing comprehensive engineering solutions for industrial facilities, specializing in the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure, equipment, and processes.
With a focus on financial management and effective communication, they serve major players implementing improvements that align with organizational goals and ensure the success of their operations.  They are looking for a Business Manager who will providing support to major infrastructure companies across Brazil.   Your role will involve overseeing strategic initiatives and business development efforts within the infrastructure sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in project planning, resource allocation, and financial management to maximize profitability and ensure project success. Key Responsibilities:

 

• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the infrastructure sector.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
• Lead business development efforts to generate new leads, secure contracts, and expand the company's footprint within the infrastructure market.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including pricing strategies, proposal development, and negotiation of contracts.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences.
• Prospect and engage with new clients through networking events, industry conferences, and targeted outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and finance, to develop project plans that align with client requirements and company capabilities.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Monitor project profitability and financial performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Encourage knowledge sharing, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the infrastructure sector and consulting environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and financial concepts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, CRM software, and other relevant business tools.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
• Fluent in English, Spanish would be a plus.
