Corporate Accounting and Tax Management Retail

Seeking to improve its internal structure to support this growth, the company is looking for a new executive to strengthen the financial area, aligning it with the corporation’s medium and long-term goals.

As Accounting and Tax Manager, your main challenge will be to transform and optimize the area’s processes. This will include improving tax planning and compliance with tax and regulatory obligations, as well as ensuring balance sheet accuracy, with the aim of facilitating business internationalization and ensuring that all procedures are carried out in an agile and efficient manner.

Main responsabilities:

• Manage all of the company’s accounting operations, including the preparation and analysis of reconciliations, closing balance sheets and monthly reports;

• Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, as well as the preparation and presentation of declarations, following changes in tax legislation;

• Identify and mitigate accounting and tax risks, implementing policies and procedures suited to business needs;

• Conduct internal and external accounting and tax audits, ensuring that all necessary information and documents are in compliance;

• Reevaluate accounting and tax processes, identifying possibilities for improvement and implementing efficient solutions;

• Develop strategies and implement practices that minimize tax burdens and maximize tax efficiency, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations;

• Prepare reports and financial statements to report accounting information, in IFRS format, meeting CVM standards.

Requiriments:

• Have an active CRC;

• Solid experience in the retail segment;

• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and accounting regulations relevant to the sector;

• Advanced English.
