Branch Overview Through BC Registries and Online Services, we provide trusted registry services including the Corporate Registry, Personal Property Registry, Manufactured Home Registry, OneStop Business Registry and BC Online. We also have an important mandate to deliver secure and privacy-enhancing identity services for citizens and businesses, through the Provincial Identity and Information Management Program, to support access to digital government services and information. Job Overview Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Director, the Senior Product Manager is accountable for managing and overseeing all aspects of agile feature teams. They take a leadership role in defining, directing and coaching their team in product development, implementation and service delivery. Job Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in a technology discipline, project management, or related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience working in a product, project or service capacity.
  • Experience in project management at the enterprise level.
  • Experience (recent, within the last 5 years) managing complex enterprise IM/IT projects in an agile environment with multiple interdependencies including major business transformations, strategic communications, and the oversight of system integrators.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience managing change.
  • Experience leading successful delivery of digital products or service; successful design, delivery and ongoing management of high-quality services which maximized opportunities offered by digital technology.
  • Experience analyzing and using customer insight and user and performance data to design and continually improve digital services to fully meet user needs in a convenient and straightforward way.
  • Experience interpreting user data and feedback to design and implement channel shift strategies to move users from traditional to digital delivery channels.
  • Experience with current agile project management practices, open source, cloud platforms and digital services.
  • Experience working in an agile, digital product- focused development environment with User Experience teams, designers and developers to iteratively create and improve digital products and services.
  • Experience with related UX practices and skills, including content design, content strategy and information architecture.
Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:
  • Experience working as a part of the Exchange Lab or the BCDevExchange network.
  • Experience with leadership in digital government initiatives.
  • Experience delivering training and learning to adults and professionals.
