Accounting Manager

Your new role  

• Preparation and review of working paper files
• Making recommendations based on analysis and status of corporate and personal accounts
• Reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy
• Training and mentoring junior staff
• Performing variance analysis and preparing account reconciliations
• Assisting with financial and tax audits
• Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of the auditing team
• Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives What you'll need to succeed  

• CPA Certification.
• Public accounting firm experience.
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentation), excellent interpersonal and management skills
• Experience with Caseware, Tax Prep, QuickBook and Simply Accounting would be considered an asset.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
