Position Information The Ontario Lung Screening Program's (OLSP) Administrative Assistant 1 is responsible for performing a full range of clerical and administrative support services, supporting the OLSP clinical team to assess, triage and schedule participants for this regional screening program. . Responsibilities include data entry, preparing and filing of correspondence, scheduling of appointments, answering and/or redirecting of incoming communication, message taking, , record keeping in Epic and other relevant programs, faxing. Rotation/Shifts Days, 8 hour shifts. Basic Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in a Secretarial Program or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Two (2) years related clerical experience;
  • Intermediate Word;
  • Intermediate Excel;
  • Computer literacy;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Tact, judgment, and initiative;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Eligible to work in Canada;
  • Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Epic;
  • Experience with pre-hospital health care, documentation and data management.
