Our client is a technical consultancy providing Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering and Advisory services across Canada. They are searching for a motivated and energetic Construction Coordinator. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys a challenging, professional, and dynamic workplace and contributing to the success of a hardworking team.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordination of meetings;Preparing meeting agendas;Preparing and distributing meeting minutes;Follow up on action items and deliverables;Prepare project update reports, as needed (e.g., weekly and/or monthly);Prepare technical reports for inspections and repairs;Onsite inspections and construction monitoringAttend virtual and/or site meetings and communicate directly with clients, consultants and contractors;Prepare, compile and review submittal packages (e.g., permit packages, engineered drawings, etc.);Provide technical and administrative support through all phases of the project;Support project teams to help achieve safety, quality and commercial goals;Work with document control to maintain an orderly and secure filling system for records;Perform site inspections;Other duties as required.Idea Candidate Requirements1+ year of experience working on a Construction SiteA bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) or the relevant regulatory body.Proficiency in using engineering software and tools relevant to the specific field (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, etc.).Experience or education in Building ConstructionStrong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports and documentation.Effective interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.commitment to safety protocols and regulations.Valid Class 5 Driver’s LicenseInterested candidates are encouraged to send their resume in word format to this posting or email
