About You:

Responsibilities

  • Leading our Payment Solutions team by providing support and development to the Payment Solutions Management team
  • Evaluating / optimizing the department workplans and communication strategies
  • Working with the team to set targets, monitoring individual performance and team productivity, and solving issues as they arise
  • Identifying developmental opportunities for the team and create / deliver training materials and modules
  • Create new and insightful processes and reporting methods
  • Oversee our debt sale process and manage debt purchaser relationships
  • Take the lead on various ad hoc projects
  • Cultivate an environment that supports career growth and succession planning
  • Ensure the Payment Solutions Team is practicing and guided by Propel’s Core Values
  • Coach and developing individual metrics regarding quality of work and behaviour
  • Responsible for daily reporting on productivity and KPIs for the team
  • Ensure new hires are well received on the floor and integrated in the team effectively
  • With the support of the Management Team, drive the performance of the PS Team, conducting performance evaluations, setting goals and targets (individual and team), and handling performance-related issues as they arise
  • Manage the recruitment needs for the team, forecasting headcount for upcoming quarters and working with the Human Resources team to recruit for new talent
  • Communicate and enforcing company policies and compliance measures, releasing and managing updates as required
  • Document meetings and developmental sessions
  • Manage employees time off requests and schedules through UKG
  • Generate and analyzing daily, weekly and monthly reports

Requirements

  • Experience in running call centers for mid to large size organizations
  • 5+ years of collections experience required
  • Familiar with enterprise communication products and designing communication strategies
  • Extraordinary communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Data-oriented
  • Agile and flexible
  • Goal and target focused
  • Ability to multitask
  • Confidant and self-motivated
  • Work hands-on
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team including training, coaching and mentoring skill
  • Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
  • Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and email
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Spanish is a plus
