Housekeeper

WANTED ~ a dynamic individual to fill the role of Environmental Service Attendant ~ We are currently seeking candidates to fill Casual / On-Call positions in our Health Care division, with the potential of leading to regular Part-Time / Full-Time

Accountabilities:

The Environmental Service Attendant may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition a Health Care Facility. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

General Responsibilities:

• Clean / sanitize surfaces, finishes and fixtures including ceilings and vents, walls, furniture, windows and window coverings
• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors and vacuum hallways, stairs and office spaces
• Will be required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per manufacturer and Sodexo standards
• Waste removal (garbage and recycling), replenish supplies
• Spot cleaning of carpets, burnish / auto-scrub floors
• Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated
• Apply all safety requirements to all assigned work
• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments
• Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping, janitorial or similar occupation preferred
• Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to facilitate a lot of walking, standing, stairs, bending and twisting
• Job Type: Part-time, Casual
• Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 /hour
