Kayak Guide/ General Maintenance

We are seeking an enthusiastic kayak tour guide to join our team. As a guide, you will have the opportunity to educate and entertain visitors while showcasing Dipper Harbour on the world famous Bay of Fundy. If you have a passion for history, culture, and enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, this is the perfect role for you. Duties: - Conduct guided tours of coastal Bay of Fundy, providing visitors with engaging and informative commentary - Lead groups of tourists through designated routes, ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout the tour - Share interesting facts and historical information about the attractions - Answer questions from visitors - Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times to create a positive experience for visitors - Ensure adherence to tour schedules and manage time effectively to provide a seamless experience for guests - Collaborate with other team members to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth operations -Perform general maintenance of the business property Requirements: - Excellent communication skills in English (multilingual abilities are a plus) - Strong leadership qualities to guide and manage groups effectively - Passion for educating others about history, culture, and local attractions - Exceptional time management skills to adhere to tour schedules - Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to provide exceptional experiences for visitors - Comfortable speaking in public and addressing groups of people - Knowledge of local history, landmarks, and attractions is preferred but not required -Kayak skills are an asset, however, training will be provided Apply now!
