Operations Manager

SunTrac Contracting & Rentals is located in Dryden, Ontario.  We are an excavation and equipment rental company.  We also provide aggregate supply and delivery, snow and ice maintenance services as well as demolition services.

Under the direction of the President, responsible for overseeing all operations aspects of the organization.  This includes implementing processes and practices following policies and procedures, supervision and performance management of staff and team leadership.  Additional responsibilities for budget management, supply chain management, as well as contract procurement and management.   This position requires flexible and additional hours of work on an as-needed basis.

High School diploma and a post-secondary degree/diploma/trade relevant to the position are preferred.  A Class G licence is required and additional licences (e.g. DZ Class A restricted) are preferred.  A minimum of five years of experience in a related construction and/or industrial environment and previous supervisory and/or leadership experience are required.  Experience in estimating and project development an asset. Excellent communication skills as well as demonstrated written and verbal communication skills are required.  The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks is necessary as is the ability to work in a team environment.

$62,400 to $68,640 salary per year (dependent upon qualifications)
