Job Description - Order Picker

Hayward Holdings Inc. (NYSE "HAYW") is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment in the world, with a significant presence in the commercial pool market that is continuously growing. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China.  This position is based in Oakville, Ontario.  

 

Position Overview:

With hands on work approach, sustain and drive continuous improvement within the picking and auditing processes. Responsible for Picking, Auditing, Order Completion, and Order Processing Shipment Functions and manage these tasks directly. The Picker/Auditor is to prepares documentation, maintains records for product shipment

Key Accountabilities

1. Prepares documentation, maintains records.
2. As the Order Picker Prepare and Coordinate Domestic transactions.
3. Provide tracking or shipping history information.
4. Prepares Shipping paperwork as well as completes shipping transaction in appropriate systems.
5. Prepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipment as required.
6. Communicates status of Shipping/Receiving activities to appropriate personnel.

7. Generate shipping output documents as required.
8. Communicate shipping volumes and priorities closely with the Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Performance Indicators

The coordination and output of Customer orders and documentation, to support the business performance.

 

Experience & Key Skills

The position requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and six months' experience in order processing and inventory control. The person should have previous experience with Microsoft software, including Excel, Word, as well as experience with AS400 (BOSS/KBM) management software. A college degree is not necessary. Knowledge of carrier and courier shipping documentation.
