Rehabilitation Assistant - Patient Services
New Acute Care Facility, Corner Brook

A new Acute Care Facility is currently being built in the Corner Brook area and Western Zone is currently recruiting for additional staff to support its operations across a variety of disciplines and departments. We are currently recruiting for Rehabilitation Assistant - Patient Services. Although we anticipate many positions will require start dates prior to the opening of the new facility, start dates will be determined based on department planning as well as construction progress of the building.

Required Qualifications: Successful completion of High School or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), as well as successful completion of an approved Rehabilitation Assistant Program are required. Experience in a health care setting would be an asset.

NOTE: If no applicants meet the required qualifications the employer is prepared to consider applicants who are currently enrolled in an approved Rehabilitation Assistant Program with the intention of completion within three (3) years from date of enrollment in the course.

Hours of Work: 75 hours per pay period
0800-1600, 0830-1630, 0900-1700, 0930-1730, and 1000-1800 hours
On call and weekend coverage on rotational basis is required

Salary Scale: $26.39 to $29.22
