The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer will be the single point of contact for all Canada automation projects using Microsoft Power Automate Desktop. They will be responsible for ensuring RPA development is carried out as accurately as possible in accordance with business/functional specifications and project schedule. The individual will also assist the development team by supporting existing RPA bots, SQL applications, interacting with internal customers and updating source code based on key software development and lifecycle standards. 

Key accountabilities

• Create, design, develop, and deploy RPA projects, by working closely with subject matter experts and following business process documents. 
• Provide support, maintenance, and reporting on automated bots in collaboration with business users and our global centers of delivery & excellence. 
• Optimize and support existing RPA bots, Microsoft Power Platforms, web applications, API’s, MS SQL Servers, C#, ASPNET, CSS, and HTML.

• University degree in computer science.
• Minimum 2 years of experience implementing RPA bots using Microsoft Power Automate Desktop.
• Additional experience working with other RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, Work Fusion etc.
• Ability to capture and write technical documentation for RPA projects.
• Solid knowledge of Python, SQL, C#, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, Java, PowerShell required.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platforms (Azure functions, Power Apps, Share Point, Dev Ops, Data Factory etc.).
• Experience in multiple systems integration and building related solutions.
• Experience in developing and consuming APIs.
• Passion for data and programming.
• Efficient problem-solving ability & sense of urgency when required.
• Resourceful, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly understand, design and deconstruct algorithms and data structures.
• Basic understanding and knowledge on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence programming (Asset).
• RPA developer certification (Asset).
