With over three decades of experience, our Canadian-based client offers comprehensive manufacturing services and technical prowess to deliver cutting-edge solutions. They are currently seeking a Sales Manager to spearhead growth and profitability in North America, Europe, and other key markets. The role entails diverse responsibilities across segments, focusing on consultative sales to effectively address customer needs. The Sales Manager will report directly to the VP of Business Development & Engineering. Responsibilities: Cultivate and nurture strong business relationships with current and potential clients, employing a consultative approach to deeply understand and address their needs. Develop and execute strategies to expand and fortify the customer base across various business sectors, with a focus on problem-solving and personalized solutions. Identify and engage with key decision-makers within client organizations to establish influential connections. Travel extensively to engage with clients across all markets. Provide timely and attentive service to client inquiries, including RFQs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of sales activities to facilitate transparent and efficient sales management. Create and deliver compelling, tailored sales proposals that highlight the unique value proposition of our products/company, tailored to each client. Support marketing efforts, including participation in trade shows, conferences, and other events. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Provide valuable market insights and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and strategic alignment. KPIs: (Illustrative) Achieve significant growth in both new and existing accounts within North America, Europe, and non-China markets. Meet or exceed established sales targets. Successfully introduce new products to the market. Competencies/Behaviors: Proactive problem-solving approach with a strong focus on customer-centric solutions. Willingness to take initiative and execute complex projects when necessary. Demonstrated drive and motivation to achieve organizational objectives. Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Capacity to thrive in a cross-functional environment with minimal supervision. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive supply industry. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
