Job Title: Scaffolder Apprentices/Journeypersons

Minimum Level of Education: 2nd year-Journeyperson

Shift Rotation: 5/2 Shift (Monday to Friday) for 3 weeks

Hours Per Day: 10 hours per day (Monday-Thursday straight time & Friday overtime 8hrs)

Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary

We are seeking multiple Scaffolder Apprentices/Journeyperson for resourcing scaffold work in Edmonton, AB near 17 Street. The successful candidate will report to the site supervisor.

Other responsibilities include:

• Unloading scaffolding equipment on-site.
• Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding.
• Erecting scaffolding poles.
• Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures.
• Laying planks for workers to walk on.
• Fixing guard rails and safety netting.
• Calculating weight of materials and/or spools to ensure proper equipment is used.
• Complying with ONEC’s and client safety policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Experience with scaffolding preferred (2nd year to Journeyperson).
• 3-5 years of applicable experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, ESC H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection.
• Must be capable of physical labour.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.
• Organizational and time management skills.
