The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (NSUARB) is an independent quasi-judicial tribunal with broad regulatory and adjudicative jurisdiction over a wide scope of subject areas. More information on the Board can be found here. We are looking for a Senior Advisor, Finance who will report to the Managing Director, Advisory Services. While collaborating cooperatively with the advisory team this position provides a broad scope of advisory, compliance and related services. This may be the right opportunity for you if you have the following skills and experience.
Duties will include involvement in several mandates including electricity, water, and natural gas. Advisors may also be tasked to provide general information within their area of expertise to parties at proceedings, the public, or to act as a liaison with industry, government, or others.
Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent.
An acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered. Please clearly indicate in your resume or covering letter how you meet the qualifications and requirements for this position.
Salary Range: $4055.86 - $5069.81 bi-weekly (depending on qualifications and experience).
