What You'll Do

• Report to the Team Lead, Enterprise Technology.
• Demonstrate technical mastery and thought leadership within your domain.
• Champion change within the team to support our culture of continual improvement.
• Inspire proactive systems management and operational excellence throughout AMA’s technical stack.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and support of data center hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance, analyze system issues, and lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve problems.
• Support the documentation of your team’s environment considering all stages of operation, operating procedures, and disaster recovery.
• Design, build, test, and maintain enterprise technology automation and integration scripts that address complex process flows.
• Ensure that all system and application changes are developed, tested, and implemented in a well-controlled environment.
• Support the creation and maintenance of standards for design, technical architecture, capacity planning, and security processes.
• Actively participate in collaboration with other IT teams to understand and meet technical/functional system requirements.
• As a senior resource, mentor your teammates to help them one day reach your skill and aptitude.
• Evaluate, design, and implement new products, tools and technology that could address both known and unknown organizational need.

What You've Done

• You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in an appropriate field like Information Technology or Computer Science.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in relevant application systems analysis, implementation, support and development.
• You have experience in network, operating systems, partitioning, virtualization, high-availability, platform management, multi-platform environments and database management.
• You have experience ensuring core technologies are operational, regularly patched and adhering with all relevant customer performance and security requirements (Citrix, VMware, SQL, Windows Server, System Center, Storage, Backup, Domains. other enterprise productivity apps).
• You have strong communication and presentation skills, for both technical and business issues.
• Agile (Lean, SCRUM, Kanban) and/or Microsoft (MCSE, Administrator Expert/Associate) certifications are considered an asset.
