Job Description - Training Support

Job Description: This role will support a culture of progressive and sustainable Associate competencies by providing accessible tools and engaging training programs, which will encourage associate development and empowerment. This is done through identifying gaps and providing opportunities for training to fill these gaps then progressing beyond for continued development within all Associate roles. Schedule and coordinate associate training to develop and improve their technical skills and performance and ensuring documentation is current. What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate training, and engage diverse audiences
  • Experience developing training programs / materials
  • Proficient with Microsoft Offices software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience leading continuous improvement & lean manufacturing training Experience completing full training cycles (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Have the ability to work independently, be a self-starter and be able to coordinate several projects at one time
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Develop performance-based training program within the site
  • Own, deliver & assess Train the Trainer Program - Monitoring effectiveness of the internal trainers’ team and knowledge assessors according to the established KPI, developing and coordinating corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site administration and other departments to create/maintain new on-boarding initiatives & course facilitation on-site to include in the 30-60-90 process
  • Design, develop, implement and evaluate performance-based programs that result in improving measures using standard work while consistently maintaining high training quality
  • Coordinate and administer training, develop schedules, tracking of associates training and keeping site associates informed of training opportunities.
  • Update, identify skills gaps, plan and deliver training to reduce the skills gaps within area of responsibility leveraging current ways of working (FMOS, MRF, MSE)
  • Coordinate and assist in the updating of training materials (SOP, SWI, OPL, etc,) as needed to ensure standard work is known and followed
  • Coordinate, communicate & assist on all aspects of the execution of site Training plan.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of training records, and site compliance standards through Skills Matrix and other reporting
  • Maintain site readiness for internal and external audits related to regulatory and site-specific training and all correlating documentation. Assist Quality and Safety teams in preparing site standard documentation
  • Maintain site Training database up to date.
  • Own a training essential element (FCF, KC, KT) for the site and use the methodology for the E&T Pillar to build capability with the element. Support E&T Pillar Leader as backup.
  • Assist with other departments on all equipment upgrades and installations and communicate all changes to associates, while updating training manuals to ensure standard work.
  • Assist in identifying specific training needs through job task analysis.
  • Support site Line Managers and Leads to determine current associate’s skill level for their job task.
