QA software tester

Job Description 

You’ll be improving quality and reducing defects in our existing suite of products for the professional sports industry. We work with the MLB, NHL, and several other leagues to collect, manage, and report on athlete injury, treatment, and recovery. Athlete RMS works with over 100 clubs, and supports global tournaments including the ATP and WTP. 

You will explore manual testing of web and desktop platforms. A collaborative attitude and a desire to learn are essential. We operate in an agile environment and focus on creating high-quality applications, and as the company is expanding, we’re looking for adaptable people who want to grow as opportunities arise. 

You’ll work with our sports science consultants and customers to test and validate new features, support existing features, and improve application quality and reliability. 

Daily and monthly responsibilities: 

• Write and run manual and automated test cases for your products both inside and outside of sprints 

• Maintain Test Suites and Test plans for all of your products 

• Actively and regularly maintain and run regression test packs to validate current vs expected functionality 

• Contribute to grooming sessions to help the scrum team estimate stories considering the Quality aspects of them 

• Contribute to the writing of Acceptance Criteria for stories, including any bugs caught during testing 

On the technical front, we’re looking for applicants that:

• Have 5 years of professional exploratory testing experience
• Have 3 years of automation testing experience with Selenium and C#
• Can understand agile principles, and take a data-driven approach to managing quality
• Have a degree in a technical field, or have equivalent professional experience
