Job Description - Customer Support Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:


As a Customer Support Specialist at Ameriprise Financial, you will be responsible for providing remote customer support to clients in Toronto, Ontario. This part-time, entry level position requires at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role. We are looking for energetic and resourceful individuals who possess strong cooperation and adaptability skills.


Responsibilities: - Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner - Providing assistance with account inquiries, transactions, and general support - Resolving customer complaints and issues to ensure customer satisfaction - Escalating complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution - Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborating with team members to achieve department goals and targets - Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times


Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1 year of experience in a customer service role - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Must have a dedicated workspace with reliable internet connection - Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
