This highly visible role gives an opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquiries. You'll be the face of Hyatt as a Front Office Associate. If you have worked at other Hotels as a front desk clerk or you have an interest in hotel clerk jobs, we'd love to hear from you! Some of the responsibilities include: • Greeting guests upon their arrival and providing a hospitable welcome • Recording client information in the company's guest book or internal database and directing them to their designated rooms • Receiving calls, conducting room reservations, and verifying existing bookings • Organizing transportation services and making restaurant reservations for guests upon request • Processing customer payments and presenting them with the bill upon check-out • Assisting guests who request additional services including catering, wedding bookings, and retreat activities • Keeping the front desk neat, orderly, and sanitized at all times Qualifications

  • Service-focused personality is essential
  • Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality-driven
  • Detail-oriented yet able to excel while multi-tasking
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Post Secondary education in hospitality or tourism program
