Accountant

Job Description:

Sealed Air in Montreal, Quebec, Canada is seeking a part-time Entry Level Accountant to join our team. As an energetic and adaptable Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the financial health of the company.

Responsibilities: - Assist with accounts payable and receivable - Prepare financial statements and reports - Reconcile bank statements and transactions - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Help with tax preparation and compliance - Conduct research and analysis on financial data - Participate in planning and decision-making processes - Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency - Adhere to company policies and regulations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - No previous experience required, but willingness to learn and grow in the role - Must be energetic, adaptable, and possess strong research and planning skills - Must have a valid driver's license for company transportation - Life insurance and travel opportunities available as benefits
