Accounts Payable - Work from home

Job Description:

Western Refining is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Accounts Payable Associate, working remotely from home in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and issues - Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions - Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting - Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment discrepancies and improve processes - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable practices

Requirements: - 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced work environment - Soft skills in research and problem-solving
