Job Description - Customer Support Associate

Job Description:


Scotiabank is seeking a passionate and resourceful Customer Support Associate to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat channels. 2. Assist customers with account inquiries, transactions, and issue resolution. 3. Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate department. 4. Educate customers on products and services offered by Scotiabank. 5. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer experience. 6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the database. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer service.


Requirements: 1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 2. Strong cooperation skills and ability to work well in a team environment. 3. Previous experience in customer service or a related field. 4. Passion for helping others and solving problems. 5. Resourceful and able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
