Job Description - Live Chat Officer

Job Description:


The Canadian National Railway Company is seeking a dedicated Live Chat Officer to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Live Chat Officer will play a crucial role in providing support to customers through live chat services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.


Responsibilities: - Engage with customers through live chat to provide real-time assistance and support - Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional and timely manner - Identify opportunities to upsell products or services and provide customers with relevant information - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Stay up-to-date on product offerings, promotions, and company policies - Meet or exceed performance goals and targets set by the company


Requirements: - Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with customers - Hardworking and resilient attitude, with the ability to handle challenging situations - Persuasion and negotiation skills to effectively upsell products or services - Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred - Proficiency in using live chat software and other communication tools - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours as needed
