Job Description - Online Chat Support Assistant

Job Description:


MetLife is seeking a part-time Online Chat Support Assistant to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, CA. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a customer service or support role. The successful candidate will be resourceful, reliable, have strong leadership skills, and possess excellent analytical abilities.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide online chat support to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with navigating the company website, understanding products and services, and processing transactions online. 3. Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all online chat interactions. 4. Analyze customer data and feedback to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for growth. 5. Communicate effectively with customers through written messages, ensuring clear and concise communication at all times. 6. Stay up-to-date on company policies, products, and services to provide accurate information to customers. 7. Meet or exceed performance metrics related to customer satisfaction, response time, and issue resolution.


Requirements: 1. 2+ years of experience in customer service or support roles. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficiency in typing and navigating online platforms. 6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
