"When you work in Hawaii, in addition to learning about the functional aspects of running a hotel — like the proper way to make a bed or how to best handle luggage — it’s critically important to understand Hawaiian culture and the spirit of ‘ohana, or ‘family.’ When opening the first Andaz property in Hawaii, our team participated in Hawaiian culture training to help us understand what ‘ohana truly means. " Objective: Leadership of all department activities within the hotel, working in collaboration with Housekeeping, F&B, andImplementation of the hotel's sales strategy, in order to reach and go beyond the expected figures in Rooms, A&B, and other departments.Ensure that sales activities are aligned with the hotel's corporate marketing strategy.He is responsible for presenting statistics or other information from the sales area to the Leadership Committee.Attends departmental meetings and ensures that during their execution they are carried out with clear and precise information for his team.Ensure that sales department associates provide the best possible service to internal and external customers. Qualifications Professional in Hospitality and Tourism, Hotel Administration, Marketing and Advertising or its equivalent of three years of experience in the area. English as second language Knowledge of hotel systems Minimum experience of 5 years in chain hotels. Skills: Leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, assertive communication, persuasion, teamwork.
