About the Company

This company is an online banner printing service that specializes in offering high-quality, affordable banners, yard signs, and other printed materials. They provide a user-friendly web-to-print design tool that allows customers to personalize and design their own banners, making the ordering process convenient and straightforward.
The company offers a wide range of products, including custom vinyl banners, fabric banners, mesh banners, pop-up banner stands, table covers, canvas prints, flags, various types of signs (aluminum composite, coroplast, PVC, styrene, real estate yard signs), stickers, decals, magnets, and posters.

Scope of the Role 

As a Customer Service & Estimating Department Assistant, you will be responsible for accurately calculating the total costs associated with printing projects. Your role will be crucial in helping the Customer Service team provide precise quotes to our clients, ensuring competitive pricing and optimal resource allocation.
Salary: 1000 USD monthly - Remote


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Review client specifications and prepare itemized costs for printing projects.
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email as necessary to gather relevant details to prepare estimates.
  • Collaborate with the Service, Sales, Design, and Production teams to gather all necessary information for accurate costing.
  • Use specialized software for generating estimates and maintaining records of historical data.
  • Analyze different suppliers, subcontractors, and material costs to find cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure that all estimations are completed within the given timelines and meet the company and client requirements.
  • Assist clients in navigating our company's websites and train them on how to find pricing on their own.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory management, bookkeeping, accounting, or estimating.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office or Google Docs & Sheets and related products.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of design or the printing processes and materials is a huge plus.
