As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Private Equity firm's efforts in assessing potential investments in the lower middle market industrial sector. You'll need to bring a strong background in finance, ideally holding a CPA or CFA designation, and possess expertise in conducting comprehensive financial due diligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality of Earnings Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of target companies' financial statements to determine the accuracy and sustainability of reported earnings.
• Commercial Due Diligence (CDD): Analyze market dynamics, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities within the target industry to assess potential risks and opportunities.
• Teaser Development: Collaborate with the deal team to create compelling teasers that highlight the investment thesis and value proposition of target companies.

Requirements:

• CPA or CFA Certification: Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis and due diligence processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint: Ability to manipulate financial data effectively and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Capable of interpreting complex financial information and identifying key insights.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing financial documents and identifying discrepancies or areas of concern.
• Communication Skills: Ability to articulate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner.
