Delivery Courier Job Description

The expected duties to be performed by a Delivery Courier include:
● Loading and unloading pallets, parcels, and packages ● Driving swiftly to delivery and pick up points ● Delivering parcels to recipients ● Recording delivery and handling payments ● Making collections ● Returning to depot and unloading goods ● Moving goods in the warehouse ● Obtaining signatures from customers ● Keeping track of information, including items received and delivered ● Communicating openly and respectfully with recipients ● Planning and following the most efficient routes for delivering items ● Asking for feedback on provided services ● Building strong customer relations by providing excellent customer service ● Performing all the duties in a safe, reliable, and professional manner

The desirable qualifications for the position of a Delivery Courier are:
● High School Degree ● Prior experience of working as a Delivery Courier or other related role ● Valid driver’s license ● Good driving record with no traffic violations ● Knowledge of using smartphones and applications such as Google Maps ● Excellent time management skills ● Good physical strength and stamina ● Good written and verbal communication skills

A Delivery Courier should possess the following key skills:
