Job Description
Bring your data and analytical knowledge to play an active role in supporting one of the fastest growing areas of our business!

Please note that no relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities
Play a pivotal role in supporting the Stores Finance team to:

  • Collate & update the global monthly Store level P&L reporting and stores bonus payout calculations.
  • Interpret and analyse data, trends and patterns in data sets to provide insights and recommendations on how to optimize spend and improve global Stores performance.
  • Business partner with stores team to understand, challenge and estimate productivity initiatives.
  • Present ad-hoc analytical work (insights / recommendations) to business stakeholders to influence the key store decision making processes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain databases / data systems to optimize efficiency and quality of stores financial and non-financial data, using Power BI solution. Digitise stores management reporting to be more automated and efficient.
  • Build digital capabilities across the broader LEGO Retail finance team.

LEGO Retail Finance consists of ~20 colleagues based across Europe, the US and Asia. You will report to the Stores Finance Director but, day to day, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner for Retail Stores.

Do you have what it takes

  • Must be able to demonstrate financial acumen / management accounting proficiency.
  • Strong capabilities on Power BI and MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, look-ups, macros, etc.).
  • Able to access large volumes of unstructured data and organise information. Possess a quantitative approach and analytical capabilities and be passionate about unlocking insights through data.
  • Be a good communicator and confident with presentations.
  • Comfortable challenging and influencing key partners.
  • Have strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks optimally.
  • Previous finance experience in a retail business would be highly advantageous
