Compliance Manager

To reach our ambitious goals and become the World’s Number One payment provider, we need you to join us as our Compliance Manager as part of our Risk and Compliance Team .

THE ROLE AND TEAM

At Enfuce, our commitment to upholding the highest standards of compliance and integrity shapes everything we do, and the role of Compliance Manager is crucial in enhancing our second-line defence by providing expert advice, oversight, and challenge to our business operations. In this critical role, you will help ensure that Enfuce operates within all regulatory requirements, empowering senior management to make informed decisions through comprehensive risk assessments.

The Compliance Manager works within our 2LOD Risk and Compliance team alongside four other team members reporting into the Chief Risk Officer. This dynamic role requires managing diverse activities, ensuring no two days are the same. You will receive comprehensive training on the payments and wider card scheme landscape as well as deep dives into the Enfuce platform and products.

This role requires a hands-on approach, being passionate about regulatory compliance and a readiness to dive deep into project details, all within a supportive team environment.

Your Day-to-Day:

Design and implement risk and compliance training programs, maintaining thorough records.

Conduct horizon scanning and coordinate regulatory change activities with the first line of defence.

Develop and execute a compliance monitoring plan, including conducting reviews, negotiating findings with stakeholders, and producing reports for the Risk and Compliance Committee.

Provide compliance advice and support to first-line business units as needed.

Assist in drafting Risk and Compliance Policies and managing a comprehensive policy framework for the company.

Maintain a schedule of regulatory reporting requirements and coordinate with internal data owners to ensure timely submissions to regulators.

Facilitate interactions with regulatory bodies, including responding to queries and organising information.

Lead the preparation of monthly Risk and Compliance Committee packs, taking and distributing minutes.

Manage and update Enfuce’s policy framework and the Risk and Compliance Team intranet hub.

Act as a central point of contact for third-party auditors and manage conflict of interest processes, including the maintenance of conflict logs and employee declarations.

Support the firm’s approach to whistleblowing and engage in cross-team collaboration on risk-related activities.

Update Enfuce’s Risk Taxonomy, articulate risk appetite statements with business units, and coordinate Risk and Control Self-Assessment workshops.

Develop risk incident management data capture and reporting programs, and test business controls for effectiveness.

Provide risk and compliance support to Enfuce’s group entities on an intra-group basis.

What We Look For:

Significant experience in banking, financial services, and payments, with exposure to both UK and European regulatory environments.

Professional qualifications in risk or compliance are preferred but not essential.

Deep understanding of the payments services and e-money sector, including card schemes and the BIN Sponsorship operating model.

Knowledgeable in UK and Finnish/EU electronic money and payment services regulations, including familiarity with FCA and FIN-FSA requirements.

Strong analytical skills to assess complex regulatory and risk issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide feedback and challenge constructively and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
