Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data to lead our Data and Business Intelligence (BI) teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scaling their data capabilities, managing and developing the data and BI teams, and overseeing budget management within the department for internal and external hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall data strategy aligned with the company's objectives. Lead the development and implementation of data initiatives to drive business growth and innovation.
• Team Management: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and BI professionals. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
• Scaling Data Infrastructure: Assess current data infrastructure and identify areas for improvement and scalability. Lead efforts to scale data architecture, systems, and processes to support the company's growth trajectory.
• Business Intelligence: Oversee the development and maintenance of BI solutions and tools to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports, dashboards, and insights to key stakeholders.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the departmental budget, including resource allocation, vendor management, and cost optimization initiatives. Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints while maximizing ROI.
• Data Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including IT, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions and support.
