Senior Data and Analytics Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Data and Analytics Specialist to join our crew in Helsinki. This position is new and supports our growth hacking teams by providing essential tracking and analytics services. These efforts enhance our capacity for data-driven decision-making and bolster customers' business insights through data analysis. The role requires creating, developing and selling data and analytics solutions to our customers. Your daily tasks will involve actively configuring, managing and optimizing tracking setups using Tag Managers, Web Analytics platforms, advertising pixels, server-side tracking, first party data, data warehouse and reporting tools. Further responsibilities include planning and developing our other marketing product offerings and providing support to the sales team. You will collaborate on the development of products from a data perspective and communicate our views and insights about data and analytics in our marketing and education. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, lead growth hackers, and have access to Genero's services and development resources. Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and configure tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and various marketing platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot tracking issues to ensure accurate data collection. 
• Analyze data to derive insights and support decision-making.
• Respond to customer queries with data-based answers and insights.
• Maintain and develop dashboards and templates.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, effectively sell our services, and clearly present analytical data.
• Collaborate with teams to meet tracking requirements and support sales.
• Communicate externally about our data-driven approach in marketing and business.
• Stay informed about trends in analytics and tracking technologies.

Necessary competences and experience:

• Proficient in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and BigQuery, with understanding of best practices and troubleshooting.
• Experience with common web analytics tools, api’s and data warehouse solutions.
• Knowledge of AI applications in BigQuery.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in A/B testing, data visualization, and using tools like Funnel.io, Looker Studio, and PowerBI.
• Programming skills (JavaScript, SQL, HTML, Python) for tracking customization.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
