• You will design, configure, and maintain services like Azure Sentinel to unify and analyze logs and data from resources like Workplace and Server endpoints, Azure workload and network devices and services to detect threats and initiate response across customer environments.
• You will work as an Information security Officer to our customers to assess and advise on strategies for threat prevention and vulnerability management. Working with Microsoft Secure Score to increase their overall security awareness and protection level.
• Respond to Security Incidents to detect, investigate, contain and restore and then improve on security measures of the client.

Join our team as a Security Specialist and play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and provide advisory around our clients IT- and Cybersecurity maturity. In this position, you'll be responsible assessing the threat levels and vulnerability exposure of our clients, working continuously increase their secure score. In addition, you will get to work practically as part of a purple team in a Microsoft Cloud security centric environment, driving the development of new services to deliver.

Your daily work includes:

• Threat Intelligence and protection by utilizing the latest technologies that Microsoft offers on M365 and Azure.
• Work as an advisor to our customers to assess and increase the overall Microsoft Secure Score and working with risk assessments of their systems.
• Collecting, unifying, analyzing and create countermeasures from various log sources with Microsoft security Center and Sentinel.
• Carry out vulnerability management through scanning and assessments in customer environments to increase threat protection.
• Responding to security events and incidents by identifying, detecting, responding, investigating and mitigating threats and cybersecurity attacks.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or business administration; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

To be a relevant applicant, you should have:

• Several years as a sysadmin within networking or windows systems, Linux experience is of merit for example:
  • Working experience of Microsoft Cloud services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity, and access management.
    Or:
  • Working experience with M365 administration, Exchange Online and Intune.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (2016 and 2019).
• Experience with monitoring tools in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Proven working experience with security operations for XDR systems, SIEM tools, vulnerability scanning tools, SOAR, WAF or similar. Preferably with Microsoft related tools
• Working experience with setting up monitoring and alerting of Microsoft Defender for Endpoints in Security Center
• Working Experience with Security Incident handling.
• Working experience with utilizing Microsoft Secure score to assess, evaluate and improve

In addition, we think you have a solid understanding of the following concepts:

• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and core Windows Server services
• Basic understanding of hybrid cloud solutions and architecture.
• Familiarity with Windows Server roles and features like DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP protocols, IP addressing, subnets, routing, and firewall rules

Any certification relevant to IT- or Cybersecurity is of merit, for example CompTIA Security+ or similar.

Experience in penetration testing and computer forensics is of merit.
