Trade Finance Client Services, within SEB Corporate Banking Sales and the division Large Corporate & Financial Institutions, is looking for a Client Service Manager with competence in Export Letter of Credits.

About the role

Trade Finance Client Services embodies a dynamic, target-oriented team of professionals dedicated to excellence in Trade Finance.

Together with your colleagues in the team, you are responsible for adding value to our clients by delivering excellent daily service to our large and global corporate clients. You are also the appointed main contact for specific clients.

You are responsible for providing competent transactional advice and solutions to ensure efficient and smooth Export Letter of Credit transactions for our clients.

Secure and build positive relationships with the relevant client contacts is of essence by proactive interaction, you are responsible to arrange meetings and trainings with the clients both physically and digitally. You initiate, drive and lead with a high engagement solely or in close collaboration with your colleagues in the team, Trade Finance Sales and with other relevant stakeholders.

In this role you will be an active team player as well as taking decisions independently, with a high capacity to prioritise the daily work in a structured manner. You will be part of our global Trade Finance community, as well as participate actively in our continuous journey to deliver on the future Trade Finance requirements and needs of our clients, embracing a future digitized offering.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

• An academic or bachelor’s degree from a university or business school and a minimum 5+ years’ experience working with Trade Finance. Expertise on Export Letter of Credits transactions and advisory, knowledge of Guarantees is considered as an asset.

• Understanding of international trade regulations and compliance requirements, such as UCP 600 (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits) and ISPB (International Standard Banking Practice).

• Demonstrated commitment, personal drive and ownership coupled with a positive and proactive can-do attitude, to deliver an exceptional client experience.

• Effective collaboration and communication skills that contribute to fostering an open, transparent, and supportive culture within your direct team, across teams, and in different countries. Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is valued.

• With curiosity, you take responsibility for your continuous personal and professional development to excel in the role and to foster further growth.

• Fluency in spoken and written Finnish and English is required; knowledge of Swedish and French language is considered an asset.
