Research Intern - Hardware Development

The Device Concept Lab is looking for an Electronics Engineer research intern to join our team. We are focused on creating cutting-edge wearable sensors and searching for someone with a strong background in Electronics Engineering to help us achieve our goals.

Main Tasks:

• developing HW prototypes for testing and characterizing new wearable sensors
• working closely with our software and research teams, preparing prototypes for testing
• generating reports for stakeholders, and incorporating feedback to improve our products

Requirements:

• minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• strong understanding and experience in PCB design, electrical schematics, and layout
• proficiency in using lab measurement instruments
• basic knowledge of microcontroller unit programming for fast prototyping on open-source electronics platforms
• experience in hardware debugging
• understanding of optical sensors
• soldering and prototyping skills
• basics of Python for data visualization
• fluent in written and spoken English

It's a plus if you have:

• 3D design experience in CAD software for rapid prototyping

• experience with health sensors

Starting time: May/June 2024

Internship period: 3-6 months
