Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Smartly.io is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Vantaa, Uusimaa, Finland, working from home on a part-time basis. As an Entry Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations - Assist with month-end and year-end close processes - Prepare financial reports and budgets for review by management - Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations - Assist with ad hoc financial projects as needed - Stay up-to-date on accounting best practices and industry standards

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 1 year of experience in accounting or finance - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Confident and driven personality traits - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
