To strengthen our Digital Forensics & Incident Response team, we are looking for a IT Security Incident Responder (m/f/d) (IT forensic scientist, computer scientist, IT security engineer, business IT specialist or similar) As an IT Security Incident Responder (m/f/d), you will take on the role of Incident Manager for specific security incidents at our customers. You will also conduct workshops, training sessions and emergency drills for the IT landscape and emergency management. We, SySS GmbH, are an IT service company with a focus on IT security testing. YOUR TASKS WITH US As an incident responder, you will take on the role of incident manager for specific security incidents involving our customers. These range from targeted phishing attacks to the complete compromise of the entire network. You will conduct workshops, training courses and emergency drills to prepare and further develop the IT landscape and emergency management. You lead the attack path reconstruction. As a forensic analyst, you examine devices such as clients, servers and mobile devices for traces of attacks and manipulation. The spectrum ranges from email fraud to the reverse engineering of malware. Visiting customers and maintaining networks with colleagues, customers and business partners are a matter of course for you. You stay on the ball and continuously develop your professional and technical knowledge. YOUR PROFILE A degree in digital forensics, computer science, IT security, business informatics or a STEM degree program. Great interest and curiosity for IT security and preferably also with initial professional experience in pentesting or incident response. Broad know-how in classic IT technologies and initial experience in working with forensic tools and backing up and restoring data. Willingness to travel and participate in on-call duty. This also includes night and weekend assignments. Professional appearance and good communication skills. Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English.
