Junior Audit Associate

On behalf of our client, a professional and well-established Business Consulting firm located in Nicosia, we are looking to recruit a talented and professional individual to join the team as Junior Audit Associate.

What you will be involved in:

• Conducting audit procedures in accordance with professional standards 
• Reviewing financial information and audit documentation
• Implementing company best practices to prepare financial statements, client correspondence and other audit-related documentation
• Work closely with Senior Auditor/Manager to ensure clients receive the best possible service
• Report any issues to Senior Auditor/Manager
• Liaising with the Accounting department regarding the updating of client folders with relevant documentation
• Preparation and submission of tax returns on behalf of clients
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a related field
• Partly qualified or studying towards a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA/ACA)
• 1- 2 years of relevant auditing experience

Skills needed: 

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office
• Basic knowledge of IFRSs and ISAs
• Ability to work in a team
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Customer-orientation
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
• Ability to meet deadlines
