Job Description - Procurement and Cost Estimation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Procurement and Cost Estimation Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

The Procurement and Cost Estimation Specialist will be responsible for managing material quotations, preparing financial proposals for studies, estimating project costs, analyzing and updating material costs, overseeing payments, organizing shipping costs, and managing shipping estimations. This role is crucial to ensuring cost-effective procurement and efficient project execution within the acoustic products manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage material quotations in coordination with suppliers and vendors.

• Develop and present financial proposals for studies and projects related to acoustic products.

• Conduct detailed project estimations, including labor, materials, and other associated costs.

• Analyze and update material costs regularly to reflect market changes and ensure competitive pricing.

• Process and track payments to suppliers and contractors.

• Coordinate shipping costs and manage shipping estimations to ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Organize and oversee the logistics of shipping and material delivery.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimations and timely procurement.

• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and cost estimations.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements to procurement processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in procurement, cost estimation, or a related role within the manufacturing or acoustic products industry.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).

• Experience with ERP systems.

• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and logistics.
