Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the configuration and administration of solutions within the ServiceNow environment - Configuring, scripting, and developing the platform.
  • Develop process automations, fully utilizing the platform’s capabilities.
  • Day to day troubleshooting, supporting and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Monitor health and maintain instance performance and regular checkups.
  • Function as the subject matter expert, stay up to date with new features/functionality and offer recommendations/solutions, as needed, driving continual improvement.
  • Work with stakeholders to design, configure, test, document, and deploy system changes to the environment.
  • Manage patching, upgrades and changes to ServiceNow instances.
  • Responsible to create and maintain a technology roadmap and execution plan for defined enterprise capabilities.
  • Maintaining a complete understanding of and adhering to all IT policies and processes.
  • Advocate ServiceNow platform and standard ITIL processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical & process documentation.
  • Managing permissions and accesses.
  • Guide business users with the process and service now.
  • Provide training to end users and business owners.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Computing, Electronics or related IT field.
  • 3+ years’ experience specifically as a SNOW administrator required.
  • Proven experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting, and testing in multiple instances, and deploying into production.
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow best practices.
  • Experience with creating, updating and implementing the following ServiceNow items: business rules, workflows, inbound actions, transform maps, workflows, service catalog/portal items.
  • Experience implementing, and/or upgrading ServiceNow.
  • Experience and knowledge supporting ServiceNow modules.
  • Experience in process optimization and IT Tools automation.
  • Very good understanding of ITIL best practices.
  • Solid understanding of the application development lifecycle process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control and deployment.
  • Working knowledge of Javascript, XML, HTML, CSS.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with python, powershell, or web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Experience integrating Service Now with other tools.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and/or Certified Application Specialist and/or Certified Application Developer.
  • AWS or Azure experience.
